FAQ
Warehouse Equipment Questions
Walkie pallet jack or end rider: which do I need?
A walkie pallet jack suits short runs, dock work and tight spaces; the operator walks behind it. An end rider lets the operator stand on board, so it pays off on longer runs and higher pallet counts per shift.
Lithium-ion or lead-acid?
Lithium-ion charges faster, can be topped up on breaks and needs no watering. Lead-acid costs less up front and works well for single-shift, lighter duty. Tell us your shifts and we’ll recommend one.
How do I choose a stacker?
Start with the pallet and the rack. Straddle stackers carry the load between their legs, reach stackers extend the forks into the rack, and counterbalanced stackers have no front legs, so they handle closed-bottom pallets on open floors.
Can I rent warehouse equipment?
Yes. Pallet jacks and stackers are available on daily, weekly and 4-week terms in the Houston area, subject to availability. Every rate is confirmed on a written quote.
What do you need to quote the right truck?
The heaviest load, pallet size, lift height, aisle width, floor surface and how many hours a day the truck will run. A photo of the area helps.
